This Spring we had lots of wonderful visits from Ryan's family. We got to meet his grandma and several aunts and uncles and we got to see his dad and step-mom who we hadn't see in 5 years. So it was pretty great to have them out here!
We took Ryan's dad and Marcia up to Valley of Fire State Park...
and went out to a show...
and had a nice Sunday evening in the backyard.
As we were sitting there talking, I thought "Oh, so this is what it's like to have family around and to sit and chat on the patio after Sunday dinner. It's really nice." I wish it could happen more than once a year... or 5 years in this case.
